Statistical studies can determine what the common lottery numbers are which appear in draws.

EuroMillions

Concerning the EuroMillions lottery, the most common lotto numbers drawn are four, 19, 23, 44 and 50. The least drawn number in that lottery is 46.

US Powerball

In the US Powerball lottery, the most frequently drawn numbers are 16, 26, 28, 32 and 41. The least drawn number is 66.

US Mega Millions

In the US Mega Millions, the most common numbers drawn are two, four, 17, 20, 31, and 39. The numbers 17 and 31 have been drawn over 210 times since the lottery began.

Studies

According to one study between July 1, 2016, and June 30, 2017, the number 16 appeared 191 times, and the number 22 was drawn 179 times. Numbers 28 and 37 appeared 167 times, the number six was drawn 166 times, and the number three appeared 164 times. The studies included lotteries such as EuroMillions, EuroJackpot, UK Lotto, Irish Lotto, French Lotto, SuperEnalotto, OZ Powerball, Australian Saturday Lotto, German Lotto, US Mega Millions, Mega Sena, and US Powerball.

This study also revealed the numbers which are drawn the least amount of times. The number 18 appeared the least, only appearing in four draws. Other numbers which were drawn less than eight times were 32, 36, 40, 41, and 46.

National Lottery

Independent research and studies conducted by the National Lottery came up with the following results about the most common numbers appearing in draws. These studies have taken place over the last 20 years.

The most commonly drawn numbers are:

• 23; drawn 306 times
• 38; drawn 306 times
• 40; drawn 306 times
• 30; drawn 302 times
• 11; drawn 301 times
• 44; drawn 297 times

The least drawn numbers are:

• 50; drawn 22 times
• 53; drawn 23 times
• 51; drawn 25 times
• 57; drawn 26 times
• 56; drawn 28 times

As you can see, the 50’s numbers are least likely to make an appearance.
